Whether it's custom HTML5 builds with animation, mobile-optimised sites, rich media such as audio and video, ecommerce solutions, fully interactive and engaging blog sites with inbuilt social media functionality or beautifully designed brochure type sites we have the know-how to make magic for our clients without having to blow the budget.

We have expert knowledge in open source content management systems (CMS) and always try to build on these once the web design has been completed.

We are top level Joomla, Magento, SilverStripe and WordPress web experts and are huge advocates of open source. Our own site for example is built on the Gantry Framework.

We follow accepted standards. We pride ourselves on following open standards, such as W3C specifications, including HTML, CSS and Javascript

We support different browsers and devices. Whether it's Mac, PC, iPhone, BlackBerry, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome. Platforms evolve, but by following standards and rigorous testing we ensure that what we build works on as many devices as possible

We use a 'progressive enhancement' approach. Structuring our content to ensure it is semantically correct, readable on any device or platform, while making use of more advanced technologies in new browsers. This means we don't rely on JavaScript, CSS or Flash to be present to access our content, but provide a better experience when these technologies are there

Our work is accessible. We follow WCAG and ensure Priority 2 support as a minimum.

We use open source when possible for the following reasons:

  • It's constantly scrutinised which encourages continual improvements and development.
  • There's an established community of web developers constantly developing addons and plugins
  • Our build provides the end user with an easy to use interface for updates and amendments.
  • It's clean efficient and provides excellent design flexibility
